給家長　這一頁不是給孩子自己做的，需要一位大人當考官：照著「老師唸／老師問」的句子唸，孩子看圖回答。不用糾正文法，孩子卡住時再唸一次或指一指圖就好。參考說法都收在「看答案」裡，先別打開。

Part 1

In the bedroom

兩張圖有七個地方不一樣。看著自己的圖，說說看哪裡不同。

看 7 個不同的地方與參考說法（先讓孩子自己找）

A: a cat is on the bed · B: a dog is on the bed
Here there's a cat on the bed, but here there's a dog.
A: the ball is under the chair · B: the ball is on the chair
In my picture the ball is under the chair, but in your picture it's on the chair.
A: there are two books on the shelf · B: there are three books on the shelf
Here there are two books, but here there are three.
A: the picture on the wall shows a boat · B: the picture on the wall shows a plane
This picture has got a boat in it, but that one has got a plane.
A: there is a lamp on the table · B: there is a clock on the table
Here it's a lamp on the table, but here it's a clock.
A: the boy is reading a book · B: the boy is eating an apple
In my picture the boy is reading, but in yours he's eating an apple.
A: the bag on the floor is red · B: the bag on the floor is blue
Here the bag is red, but here it's blue.

Part 2

Jack and the kite

這四張圖是一個故事，叫做 Jack and the kite。老師會先描述第一張圖，然後由學生接著把故事說完。

Jack and the kite — Jack

老師唸These pictures show a story. It's called 'Jack and the kite'. Look at the pictures first. (Pause) Jack is in the park with his new kite. It's a windy day and the kite is in the sky. Now you tell the story.

看參考說法（孩子講完再打開）

Picture 2 — The kite is in a big tree now. Jack cannot get it. He looks sad.
Picture 3 — A girl sees Jack. She helps him get the kite out of the tree.
Picture 4 — Jack has got his kite again. He is happy. He and the girl play in the park.

The child does not have to use these words. Credit any telling that follows the sequence and makes sense. A child who says only 'kite in tree ... girl helps ... happy' has told the story.
