依官方題型格式出題（5 題・5 分）。每段錄音都依官方規則播放兩次，音檔裡已經含重複，不用自己按第二次。
官方題型說明 Task format
一段較長的對話，把筆記上的五個空格填完。答案幾乎都是專有名詞、數字或時間，拼字要正確。官方考卷中為 第 6–10 題，整份聽力卷約 30 分鐘・25 題。
題目說明（rubric）依照官方題型格式以英文呈現；以下練習題為埃森美語原創編寫，用於熟悉題型，非劍橋官方試題。官方免費樣卷：cambridgeenglish.org → A2 Key for Schools preparation。

關於這些錄音 音檔由電腦語音合成（macOS 內建語音），每個角色用不同的聲音、語速依等級調整，內容與停頓完全依照官方格式，包含官方規定的「播放兩次」。要誠實說明兩件事：合成語音不等於真人錄音的自然度，而且這台機器只有女聲版本的澳洲與愛爾蘭腔，所以男性角色的口音多樣性比正式考試窄——正式考試會出現英、美、澳、愛爾蘭等不同口音的真人錄音。先自己聽兩次再打開逐字稿，效果差很多。

ManHi, everyone! I want to tell you about our brand-new Cooking Club, which starts very soon. First, let's talk about the day. I know I said Tuesday last week, but we've had to change it — the club will now meet every Thursday afternoon, straight after school.
ManAs for the time, we'll start at half past three — sorry, actually, we'll start at four o'clock, because the kitchen isn't free until then.
ManWe'll be using the school kitchen, which is in Room 12 this term — not Room 9, where the club met last year, because that room's being used for something else now.
ManNow, I'm your new teacher for this club. My name's Mr Parker — that's P, A, R, K, E, R, Parker. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all.
ManOh, and one more thing — you'll each need to bring three hundred dollars to buy food for the class. That's enough for the whole term, so you won't need to bring any more money after that. See you at the first class!

解析會說明每個選項為什麼對、為什麼錯，並指出答案在錄音的哪一句。分數只記在你自己的瀏覽器裡，不會上傳。
聽不懂，通常不是耳朵的問題
打開逐字稿如果每個字都看得懂，那問題不在單字，在語速與連音——這要靠大量輸入，不是背更多字。如果逐字稿裡有看不懂的句型，那就是文法還沒站穩，可以直接對照 KET 文法範圍逐項教學。分不清楚是哪一種，一次程度評估最快。
