PET 寫作 Part 1
必考 email

4 個原創題目（20 分・約 100 字）。直接在頁面上寫，字數即時計算，寫完再打開範文對照——每一句都標出它在為哪一個評分面向服務。

官方題型說明 Task format

回一封朋友的 email，四個內容重點全部要寫到，還要有稱呼、署名與合適的語氣。這一題沒得選，一定要寫。這一題官方配分 20 分，字數要求 約 100 字。

題目說明依官方題型格式以英文呈現；以下題目與範文為埃森美語原創編寫，非劍橋官方試題或官方範文。

寫作沒辦法自動改分——所以這一頁的重點不是給你分數，是先自己寫一次再對照。草稿只存在你自己的瀏覽器裡，關掉頁面也還在，不會上傳。

Club fundraising

Task 1

This is an email from your English friend, Daniel.
Write an email to Daniel.
In your email, remember to:
- say what your class sold
- say if the fundraising day was successful
- give Daniel one tip for his own fundraiser
- ask Daniel when his fundraiser is

Hi! My cousin goes to a school near yours, and she told me your class had a big fundraising day last Saturday! That sounds like so much fun. What did you sell? I really hope it went well! Also, I'm helping to organise a small fundraiser at my school next month, so any tips would be great. Write soon, Daniel

直接給 Daniel 一個具體、可執行的建議（成本低才能賺更多），回答第三個重點，不是空泛的加油打氣。

用 because 子句說明原因，句子結構比簡單句複雜，展現「語言」評分要看的句型廣度，而不只是一堆短句。

用正確的問句形式回答第四個重點——反問 Daniel 的活動時間——這是官方评分表明確要求的「詢問」功能。

用一句表達期待的話收尾，讓讀者感覺這封信有溫度、有互動，而不是寫完四點就結束。

最常見的失分
  • 只提到賣了什麼，卻忘記說明活動是否成功（第 2 點），導致 Content 漏掉一個重點。
  • 沒有給 Daniel 具體的建議（第 3 點只寫『it will be good』這種空泛的話），內容不夠具體。
  • 忘記在信末提出問題（第 4 點 ask Daniel when...），整封信少了「詢問」這個功能，Content 和 Communicative Achievement 都會被扣分。
  • 時態混亂——描述已經發生的園遊會卻用現在式（例如寫成 'We sell bubble tea'），Language 會被扣分。

最常見的失分
  • 只回答『去哪裡』卻沒說明『為什麼選那裡』（第 2 點），Content 不完整。
  • 原因寫得含糊，例如只寫『because it's fun』，沒有具體理由，無法完全說服讀者，Communicative Achievement 受影響。
  • 信末問句寫成直述句（例如寫成 'Olivia's last school trip was fun.' 而不是問句），沒有真正達成『詢問』這個語言功能。
  • 地名等專有名詞大小寫錯誤（如 jiufen 沒有大寫開頭），看起來不夠自然，會被視為 Language 的小失分點。

最常見的失分
  • 禮物寫得太籠統（只寫『a nice gift』而沒有具體說是什麼），Content 細節不足。
  • 忘記說明『怎麼收錢』（第 3 點），這是很多學生會漏掉的細節重點。
  • 給 Jack 的建議只是重複自己班上的做法，卻沒有用 could/maybe 這類建議句型，語氣不像在給建議，Communicative Achievement 受影響。
  • 金額或數字寫成不自然的格式（如 50$ 而不是 fifty dollars），不符合英文書寫習慣。

最常見的失分
  • 只寫『I use an app』卻沒有講清楚是什麼類型的 app 或方法，Content 細節薄弱。
  • 說明『是否有幫助』時沒有給理由（第 2 點），變成只有結論沒有解釋。
  • 給的讀書技巧太籠統（如只寫『study hard』），不是具體、可執行的建議。
  • 現在進行式與現在簡單式混用不一致（例如 I'm using... 又寫成 I use it every evening 兩種時態交錯），Language 會被扣分。
練習之後

寫作是唯一需要有人改的一卷

範文能告訴你「好的長什麼樣子」，但沒辦法告訴你「你自己寫的哪裡不對」——這兩件事差很遠。同一個錯誤重複二十次卻沒人指出來，是自學寫作最常見的結局。如果是文法拖累的，可以先對照 PET 文法範圍逐項教學；想要有人真的批改，我們的課每週都在做這件事。
